I applaud your, healthy, positive attitude. I too am working on having a little less "fluff". I've always liked bootcut jeans &amp; wider leg pants in general because, to my eye, they balance out my hips. And although this wouldn't work for those going for a more urban look, for my more rural, casual style, I like bootcuts &amp; other Westernwear touches, but I don't want to overdo it. I've had a few pairs of skinny jeans over the years, but mostly wider-leg styles. I might work up the courage to try skinnies again, as I'm seeing that YLF'ers look great in your skinnies! In the meantime, I've been working up my courage to wear belts again. And I'm on the same wavelength as you - I'm kind of done with skinny jeans. They are not the most flattering silhouette for me and for the most part, I find them uncomfortable. I find straight leg or bootcut give me a longer, leaner silhouette as they help to balance out my mid section.</p> <p>Are those the length they came in? Talk about PPL! As a stopgap measure, I picked up these jeans last night. I am starting to like the boot cut again after adopting the skinny as my preferred jean for the last year or more.</p> <p>My backside is naturally flat so I can't blame the jeans for it but these are not as bad as many I have tried on. </p> <p>What do you think? Good enough to leave the house?</p> <p>P.S. It really is hard to take a pic from behind. I always feel like I am leaning forward and unnatural. </p>
