I think Angie was talking about how she often feels about tech fabrics. In the same way as she doesn’t find black or wearing all black “aesthetically pleasing”. I don’t think expressing that personal view is putting down those who wear it or displaying “prejudice” (to quote Gaylene) or disrespect. Of course many of us feel differently! Life would be pretty boring if we all had the same style aesthetics. Plus there would be nothing to talk about here! That’s why Angie generously puts these views out for discussion on her blog and the forum and invites us to comment. I can absolutely see their benefits in terms of durability, colour fastness etc. I’m also not sold on the aesthetics - FOR ME - because tech items usually have a sporty vibe.
