Comfortable right out of the package, without excess stretch. I see these being really versatile -- the leg opening at the hem is wide enough to roll up as I've done here, or to pull over the tops of booties, but yet narrow enough to tuck into taller boots. They walk the line really well between skinny and BF style even though they are not typical "straight" cut. And they seem to work well on a variety of body types.
