Yes, I guess I focus on designers although some of these pieces are not high designer at all. I think I started thrifting (first back in college and then with renewed energy after my kids were school age) because I like interesting pieces that don't look like everything else. Once I got my hands on top designer pieces (and in the early days it was surprisingly easy to find stuff at charity shops), it was hard not to become addicted. It is the combination of design, fabric and construction that makes the difference to me - which are not exclusively found in well known designers, but it is more likely in my experience. (And yes everything except the two shoes I mentioned is second hand either from a charity shop or some sort of consignment/second hand shop.)<br /><b>Irina</b> and <b>Lise</b> - I am a shoe person through and through, so your words are especially nicce!<br /><b>Debbie</b> - thank you!
