I spent yesterday in old stained denim shorts (my painting shorts) and my “I [bike] 100 miles” tee. LOL And just changed into hiking shorts for a 3-mile walk with the dog. That’s about par for the course these days. I’m not complaining though because I’m loving it so far! Getting the use out of some of my summer staples that usually have a very short season.</p> <p>Also experimenting with silk scarves in my hair to make it feel a little more polished since it’s been so long without a cut! </p> <p>Navy dress was rescued from the Goodwill pile - it was a bit ratty at the bottom but I knotted it for an asymmetrical hem, inspired by @LisaP and The Mom Edit. With with thrifted necklace that’s not my usual style, but I’m loving it lately.</p> <p>Gap cotton skirt with cotton lining, purchased last year after seeing the usefulness of @Suz’s J Crew skirt. Worn with A Peace Treaty silk scarf, and pistachio suede Gazelles for something unexpected.</p> <p>Navy linen tunic and magenta silk scarf worn in my hair - both thrifted.</p> <p>For a Father’s Day lunch today - a cotton sundress (with pockets!) from Max Mara that fits like a dream and makes me feel like Sophia Loren. I always wanted a summer dress I could throw on and feel polished and beautiful in. This is the one </p> <p>Thoughts and feedback welcome as always! What are you living in this summer? </p>
