Staysfit - Don't worry, I appreciate your honesty. I'll admit that I didn't try the combo in #4 on before bringing it with me. I changed at my parent's house to go to the soccer games. I might have worn different pants if I'd been at home and had the luxury of more options.

Windchime - I bought the shoes at Target last spring. I'm not sure if they have something similar this year or not. They were only available online.

Laurie - Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not sure if the freezer is less distracting since the top has a bunch of stuff stored on it. I'll take a couple trial photos and see if they look better.

Rachylou - I added the Old Navy top as a Find. They don't seem to have it in grey any more.

I loved 3 when you posted it the first time and I love it now. 1 looks modern and sophisticated, 4 relaxed and hip. Three of the best things I've seen you wear. Nice!

Chiming in on #1 as a favorite of your outfits. Fluid and comfortable outfit with awesome shoes. You have dainty ankles! #2 is a winner for me too. I have a poison eye for pattern mixing, but those who are more fashion-forward than I are cheering your choices, good job!

I have a photo suggestion - can you slide to your right and stand in front of the fridge, or do you have the only good camera angle in the room exactly where you are standing? There could be less distraction with a solid white surface than the washer and dryer and cabinets combo, more emphasis on your lovely self/outfits.

I love your ankle strap shoes in #1. Do you know if they're still available?

Your pattern mixing in #3 is awesome and magazine-worthy.

I have the same challenge of dressing for varying temperatures during April. It was so cold last week (30's F) that I was back in winter sweaters. This week it's high 30's in the a.m. and up to mid 60's later in the day. Layering is the way to go.

I like #1 & 3 best too. #3 is some advanced pattern mixing. #1 has minimalist fabness going (how come I don't see fab tops like that when I go into Old Navy?!).

#5 - looks like a good outfit for work.

#4 - doin' some hipster! Clink mason jars with me! :D

#2 - you know, this particular striped tee makes the blazer look very sweater-y. I have to think about that.

Oh, our spring has suddenly turned chillier too. We had a bit of frost this morning :(

Of your outfits, I'm liking the first three the best, with #1 as my favourite. I too think maybe a more intense tone of pant could work a little better with the hounds tooth sweater and I may like a pendant necklace in the last outfit.

Sara L, I hope you don't mind my honesty. I like outfit 3 the best. The pattern mixing works and the colors are flattering for you. I also like 1 & 2. I'm not fond of the pants in outfit 4. Perhaps trying something with more intense saturation would work better with that top. The olive seems a bit faded compared to the black. You could try a darker olive, navy or black. For whatever reason, the skirt in 3 had more depth/intensity than these pants and looked better than the top. The shoes are good. I am distracted from your face by the necklace in pic 5. It's a pretty necklace though.

It's been typical spring weather around here where it's warm one day and then cold the next.

#1 - The last warm day before it turned cold - new grey top from Old Navy and blue chinos from H&M.
#2 - I wore a knit blazer over a striped tee on a casual Friday because it was supposed to warm up in the afternoon but it started raining and never got warm.
#3 - Houndstooth and floral - worn to church for my oldest son's first communion. What do you think of the pattern mixing? Too much?
#4 - More pattern mixing - I exchanged the skirt and heels for pants and sneakers to watch the kids' soccer games in the afternoon (1st Communion at 10:00 am and soccer games at 2:00 pm).
#5 - Another cold, rainy day so I'm wearing a sweater, jeans, and boots.

Thanks for looking and any comments or suggestions are more than welcome.
