The statement necklace is gorgeous.</p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw---some-casual-some-work-outfits#post-1692960 Tue, 12 Jul 2016 17:07:00 +0000 Sara L. 1692960@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>So busy at work!&nbsp; I'm trying to read a few posts here and there on the forum but haven't had much time to respond.&nbsp; Here are some of my recent outfits.</p> <p>#1 - Pencil skirt and blouse - trying to look professional for a meeting/presentation I had that afternoon.</p> <p>#2 - Black thrifted dress.&nbsp; I started with heels and a sparkly necklace and felt&nbsp;overdressed for work so tried to dress it down with more casual necklace and flats.&nbsp; This dress fits perfectly but I would have never tried it on if it wasn't thrifted.&nbsp; Mainly because I don't look at sizes right away when thrifting - my favorite store isn't organized by size so I've gotten good at bypassing stuff that obviously won't fit.&nbsp; This looked like a good candidate but I noticed later the size was 10P.&nbsp; That's about 2 sizes bigger than I normally wear and I never wear petites as I'm too tall.&nbsp; </p> <p>#3 - This wasn't my favorite outfit but I can't pinpoint exactly what I don't like about it.&nbsp; Maybe a lighter belt would have helped? Silver or white, but I don't have either of those colors.</p> <p>#4 - Navy top from a clothing swap and white distressed shorts.&nbsp; I think the top can be worn off the shoulder too.&nbsp; It seemed like it would work that way but it looked&nbsp;too fancy for a day spent doing laundry and cleaning house.</p> <p>Thanks for looking and any comments or suggestions are more than welcome.</p>
