I can see what you mean. I definitely won't shorten the skirt, just wear it with boots or other shoes in the future. I don't have a short skirt, all of my skirts are at least knee length, but I don't have the real need to make these sneakers work with skirts anyway. I feel like this longer skirt would work best with your usual oxfords or something with a wee bit of heel (in drier weather of course), and of course boots. I also agree that this one is a fabulous length though, especially for tall boots! If it were slightly shorter -- just above the knee, rather than below it -- then you could get away with it. But I wouldn't shorten that skirt -- it's fabulous! I can't decide if this works or if it's just a mess. </p> <p>I first wanted to wear this with my boots, but then it was so warm outside I thought I could go with shoes. I wanted to wear my oxfords, but when it started raining like mad I wore the sneakers instead. My feet just don't stay dry in the oxfords in this kind of weather. I first thought it worked out well because the sneakers fit with the colors and have that suede like texture, but I'm not so sure after seeing the pics. Maybe with a different pair of tights? </p>
