I went &amp; saw it alone while my family was away this weekend... I hadn't read the book but had read the reviews which kind of spoils the 'twist' and you're right, their connection sounded darker &amp; even more complex in the former.<br /> But still a very engrossing film. I noticed the clothes. I've also read the book and look forward to seeing how the book compares. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw---saturday-casual-and-date-night#post-1375081 Mon, 13 Oct 2014 16:39:17 +0000 Sara L. 1375081@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I wore the first outfit to run errands, take a sick baby to the doctor (ear infection), watch the older boys' soccer games, and go to a birthday party.&nbsp; I added the blazer and heels that evening to see a movie with DH.&nbsp; We saw Gone Girl and I thought they did a good job of translating the 500+ page book to the screen.&nbsp; My one complaint&nbsp;is that Nick doesn't come off as screwed up at the end of the movie as he does at the end of book.</p> <p>#1 - Open-weave sweater with tank, boyfriend jeans, flats (from Target)<br />#2 - Same open-weave sweater and jeans, booties and blazer</p> <p>Thanks for looking and any comments or suggestions are more than welcome. </p>
