Maybe putting it in an outfit with a heavy pattern mix by adding a plaid shirt? :)</div><div><br /></div><div>I'm cheating the formula from the blog post because I'm pairing the tee with a plaid shirt instead of a blazer and shorts instead of jeans, but it was cool this morning and then got hot later in the day, so this is my hot weather version of the blog post for today's outfit.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>1. and 2. - Rock Star Bear Tee and Plaid Shirt</b></div><div>Here's how I started my day today when it was cool in the morning. The shirt is Rails. I prefer to get mine when they go on sale at Nordstrom Rack or during NAS because they are a little pricey, but they are super soft.<br /></div><div><br /></div><div><b>3. and 4. - Rock Star Bear Tee and Blush Shorts</b></div><div>I've been a big fan of graphic tees paired with sneakers this summer and this outfit is a nod to this leg of my style journey. I wear shorts of all lengths, but these are the shortest I will go for the inseam (this pair is a 4 inch inseam). The only reason this shorter inseam works (I usually select a 4 and 1/2 or a 5 inch inseam or longer in shorts) is because the shorts have an A-line shape around the thigh area. Normally I have to go up one size in shorts to fit my thighs, but then, the waist is usually too big and I have to get darts added or wear a belt. But the A-line at the thigh for these shorts gives my legs the room they need while I also have a waist that fits my natural waist, which is a nice change (no belt!).<br /></div><div><br /></div><div><b>5. - Rock Star Bear Tee</b></div><div>Close up of the tee. It's an old Lucky Brand tee. I'm pretty sure this is a guy's t-shirt but I don't mind because I like the bear.
