However, this particular feels a little too faded and mid-toned for your coloring. Perhaps try pairing them with something a little more saturated? The shoes look fine with the jeans, but if the crinkles bother you then something with a lower vamp is what you're after. I vote play with them a bit, but I think you did the right thing saving them. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw---purge-survivors#post-1553818 Tue, 08 Sep 2015 22:52:58 +0000 cheryle (Dianthus) 1553818@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I was in a rush this morning. &nbsp;I was distracted and didn't get in the shower until half an hour before I had to leave.</p> <p>I did some purging over the weekend and two of the pieces I wore today just barely made the cut. &nbsp;I really like the way these express jeans fit in the hip and thigh but the color is a bit meh. &nbsp;I ordered the top from zara at least a year ago and never wore it. &nbsp;It is a silk/cotton blend which is a favorite fabric for me so I gave it another shot. &nbsp;I added the Gibson jacket, my pewter oxfords, le mer watch and a small chain to break up the chest a bit.</p> <p>If I decide to keep the jeans, I may check out Vix's instructions for dying them a darker color - maybe grey.</p> <p>I realized when I looked at the pic that I don't like the look of the shoes with this but it was too late by then.</p> <p>What do you think? &nbsp;Should I have been more ruthless? </p>
