The cream one, I mean. </p> <p>I think you're right that the more oversized sweater makes it seem more intentional. It also has to do with the shape of the shoulders and sleeves, I believe. When the sleeves narrow a lot towards the elbow, for some reason this seems to help the sweater work better in this way. I have no idea why, but I noticed it with another of my sweaters that is not quite as oversized (but is still drapey). I wanted to bundle up with a chunky sweater but decided to give another try to sweater + skirt look. I liked this version much better that #1 even though the sweaters are the same length. I think it is because this cream sweater is more oversized and chunkier that the striped one so it looks more intentional.
