My fellow shoppers tend to go for local, new clothes, which is usually the least interesting stuff there.</p> <p>Mochi and Sona, I am interested that this looks modern to you . The coat is from the 50s or 60s as far as I can tell, although it appears to have been never worn. The bag is also vintage vinyl (another reason no one else took it - not leather). The boots are cowboy style, which I think is sort of timeless, but not necessarily current. I have a secret regarding that - about 20 years ago I was wandering around lower Manhattan when a tall handsome stranger came up to me and said "of course you must hear this all the time, but you look like Jackie O". And to give you some insight into my social grace in such matters, I stammered and sputtered and told him, no, I certainly had not heard that before and walked away. I am horrible! And such a great compliment I still remember it. I wore this for a Chanukah candle lighting and meal with friends who are not interested in fashion, but I was thrilled. </p>
