I like the mixes very much and I think they work. I would love to see the scarf tied a little differently in#4 ...maybe infinity style with more bulkiness nearer you neck...just personal preference. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw---pattern-mixing-x-3#post-1778393 Tue, 14 Feb 2017 15:32:19 +0000 Sara L. 1778393@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I wasn't excited about the pattern mixing trend when it first appeared a few years ago but it's grown on me. &nbsp;Angie's post inspired me to put together these three outfits. &nbsp;Only the first one has more than 2 patterns because I just don't have the right pieces. &nbsp;</p> <p>#1/2/3 - This one has three patterns and I really liked it. &nbsp;The polka dots on the pants are tiny so this didn't feel overwhelming to me. &nbsp;I had problems photographing the outfit because the dots don't show up well although you can see them IRL just fine. &nbsp;</p> <p>#4 - Stripes with a more organic pattern on the scarf. &nbsp;The tights are more like leggings - so comfortable and practical for a weekend day running errands and having friends over for dinner. &nbsp;</p> <p>#5 - I'm wearing this today and really wanted to wear a patterned shoe with it but I didn't have anything that would work. &nbsp;I also thought about wearing this with a pair of floral pants but it was too much for the office. &nbsp;I might still try it for a more casual occasion, like a date night. </p>
