It was a bit tough at the end and I was tempted to just chuck it all and wear some hot pink (and this week is all black), but a very kind gentleman in my office asked each day to review the outfit (in a non-creepy way) and it helped. Zap I am indeed a bit over that particular color mix for a bit. I quickly switched the belt over to it's silver side!<br /> Suz - thank you for the ankle comments, I have never given mine much thought but now I'll give them an extra nice rub for their hard work.<br /> Mona - I did not plan all of them, but I pulled anything that had the colors together in one section of my closet for better mixing possibilities.<br /> Claire - I added the trench because I haven't had a chance to wear it yet and was dying to. But only had it on for the 10 minutes one morning it was actually raining and cool enough (from my house to my car). It was not seen on my body after I got to work. I'll have to try again in fall.<br /> I definitely found some things that worked and others that did not. Without duplicating entire looks.<br /> So here is my results. Some are a little too themey for my normal tastes (but coworkers who were in on the scheme approved). I found my new Michael Kors gold/silver reversible belt to be a wardrobe staple (and factors heavily here). Some days my only red was a watch or my purse. I even have my favorite bathrobe is R/W/B (no gold) vintage sailor print (1 and 18).<br /> What I learned:<br /> 1. it's fun and difficult to limit oneself to a challenge like this.<br /> 2. I have a lot of these colors in my wardrobe (the preppy in me I suspect)<br /> 3. I need more red and white items (striped tee or sweater?) and gold jewelry<br /> 4. It's hard not to look like one works a cruise ship or airline in this combination<br /> 5. It's fun if others are in on it (coworkers) and supportive</p> <p>Nothing new here, and in no particular order (even my weekends I maintained) maybe a few new combos. Sorry I don't know how to make this one photo to spare you.<br /> So those on SYC - take note!! And hats off to all the Olympians who give so much to inspire us all. </p>
