I will have to try Taos one day. &nbsp;I have and wear one pair of Taos sandals but the straps are adjustable so don't really have a feel for how wide their standard fit is. I think they also offer wide so that's an option too. I'm not sure how much more life my Ecco 7s have life in them but I will definitely check out the Taos next--especially for summer. &nbsp;Great sock selection too - I wear the thin Puma no show (from Costco.) Generally I find that for Ecco and Taos, the toe box is a little roomier than other brands that run narrow (for example Nike, Rag and Bone, and Puma all run narrow and I avoid those brands, while Asics, Rockport, Ecco, and Taos all seem to have a slightly wider toe box that works well for me).<br /></div><div><br /></div><div>One thing I do like about the Taos I have is the canvas material which is great in the summer when it's hot. For the Eccos I own, the material is a bit thicker probably because they are not canvas styles. I tend to wear my Eccos more when it's cool outside. I put what I currently have for both brands in the finds.</div><div><br /></div><div>Also, for socks, I wear a thin, no padding or cushioning, no show sock or ankle sock. I do not like thicker socks or any cushioning in my socks and am very picky about this.
