I actually went back to the store three times before I bought it (and my closest Nordstrom is an hour away!) I was concerned about a sweater with short sleeves, but I think with the mild winters in NC it'll be perfect. If I was still in NJ I'd have no use for a short sleeve sweater. I struggled with recreating this combo the most, because I don't own any light blue shirts or olive vests to layer with it.&nbsp;</p> <p><b>#1 to #5 - Layering Olive with a Cardigan</b><br />The blog post outfit had a blue shirt layered with an olive vest. I layered a blue tee with a green cardigan as a nod for layering. I added brown sneakers as my closest nod to cognac footwear. The yellow bag added a fun pop of color (even if there's no yellow in the inspiration photo).</p> <p><b>#6 to #9 - Blue Fleece Shirt with Olive</b><br />My second attempt was to layer this oversized fleece shirt with the olive pants. This is probably a loose interpretation of the inspiration outfit, but I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the light blue paired with olive.
