I have to admit I have a bit of a poison eye for cropped tops but I think the color is fab and it looks very on trend. I think it would look great if you rolled the pants up higher in #1 and wore&nbsp;shoes with an ankle strap or just strappy design.&nbsp;You could wear a light jacket over the peach top but I think the scarf is a good idea too. Thrifting is just something I have never been good at or had the patience for, so I am always super impressed by such fab finds!</p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw---new-thrifted-items#post-1264093 Thu, 29 May 2014 16:49:52 +0000 Sara L. 1264093@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I went thrifting with my sister on Friday and bought 4 tops, a dress, a necklace, and jeans to be cut off into shorts.&nbsp; My&nbsp;favorite thrift store is organized by&nbsp;item and color, not size, so I usually get overwhelmed trying to look at tops.&nbsp; This time I limited myself to just the purples, pinks, and reds which are colors I wear a lot and I had more success. &nbsp;I'm Team Wear so wore them all this week.&nbsp; Some of these outfits need refinement though.</p> <p>#1 - Cropped purple shirt.&nbsp; I plan to wear it layered over tanks like shown here.&nbsp; This was at the end of long day of traveling so please ignore the no make-up, hair undone look.</p> <p>#2/3 - Purple and black shirt.&nbsp; I think I should have worn black shoes.&nbsp; The bag picks up the white in the shoes, but I'm not carrying the bag most of the day at work.</p> <p>#4 - Pink silk shirt.&nbsp; I like the colors here but it's not my favorite outfit.&nbsp; The skinnies make me look like an ice cream cone.</p> <p>#5 - Peach shirt.&nbsp; This top is almost exactly my skin tone and I'm not sure yet how that's going to affect it's usefulness.&nbsp; I added a scarf here for some fun color.&nbsp; I ended up retying the scarf so it's&nbsp;infinity style, which I liked better.</p> <p>Thanks for looking!&nbsp;&nbsp; I'm still experimenting with these new items so any comments or suggestions are more than welcome. </p>
