I have decided that they get so little wear outdoors that they can qualify as "indoor shoes" and besides, they are as comfy as slippers. For inspiration -- I wear mine with: blue jeans, taupe/tan jeans, white jeans, cream jeans, plaid jeans. I also wear them with skirts/ dresses in related tones, with similar toned hosiery, or without. Sometimes I echo their colour somehow up top -- i.e. with a sweater, shirt, scarf. In any case, I think if you wear tonal outfit, e.g. black top and pants, and make your burgundy booties the star of the show - it would work really well. The boots don't look dated to me, at least, in that I still see that style at retail. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw---new-scarves-dress-new-necklace#post-1416743 Tue, 30 Dec 2014 17:35:46 +0000 Sara L. 1416743@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Here's a roundup of a few recent outfits.&nbsp; </p> <p>#1 - New dress I picked up at TJ Maxx while shopping with my sister and mom.&nbsp; New scarf from one of my sons.</p> <p>#2 - New scarf also from TJ Maxx.&nbsp; I wanted one with some burgundy to tie these boots into my outfit.&nbsp; I bought the boots a few months ago and have never quite managed to put together an outfit I really love with them.&nbsp; This is my best effort so far.</p> <p>#3 - Another new scarf from one of my sons.&nbsp; </p> <p>#4/5 - New sparkly necklace with JCrew sweater.&nbsp; Also, a&nbsp;picture of me and DH that is not in the laundry room.&nbsp; I wore this to a nice dinner and then to hang out at a local brewery afterwards.&nbsp;&nbsp;Are the boots dated?&nbsp; They have a wedge heel and the heel is too high to comfortably wear except for occasions like this that won't require much walking.</p> <p>Thanks for looking and any comments or suggestions are more than welcome.&nbsp; </p>
