For a while, I didn't see them on as many because there were lots of newbie knitters out there who were making lots of scarves and they didn't know how to make fringe yet. (Or at least that's my observation as a knitter.) The scarves that I saw in the stores still had fringe on them as often as not. And I've seen lots of tassels coming in as a design feature on pursues. So wear your tassels with pride! I know the tassles are out but I like them and they are a shimmery slightly darker version of the jacket color. I also considered wearing my cherry red patent boots but went with the grey.</p> <p>I am still thinking about going back for either the green or red leather jackets.</p> <p>Suggestions for improvement more than welcome. </p>
