I will say, this is a style of dress that I find personally hard to wear—and I love and wear dresses over pants all the time—because I feel like I'm wearing a nightgown. I very much like the way you have it styled over the white trousers, and I love the silver loafers and accessories. I like the breezy look of the dress worn by itself, but perhaps a lighter colored and more structured bag to ground its breeziness, and a lighter colored shoe in a different style would set it off better. It is an outlet find, a German design by Wolfgang Joop. Made from very light viscose. I fell for the beautiful pattern, although I generally prefer solid fabrics (on me). I am also wearing a new pair of earrings, which I have got on our recent trip to Helsinki. They are in silver made by Lapponia (the design is by Björn Weckström as a part of his Silver Space collection, launched in 1969, the name is Mini Punk).<br /> I wear the dress over white wide leg trousers with silver loafers. I also added chunky faux pearls and blue aviator sunglasses.<br /> The second version of the outfit is the dress as a dress with a chain handbag and grey metallic ballerina flats. This is just to try, I rather wear shirt dresses over various trousers.<br /> I tried also with different scarves, but resisted the temptation </p> <p>What do you guys think?
