I went with a petite size 38. Most coats have too long sleeves on me, therefore the petite. I buy most sweaters in a size 36 or S and I can wear this comfortable with a few thin layers underneath. The shoulders fit just right with a tiny bit of room and there's room for my hips. Quite pear friendly. You might need to size up for the shoulders, not sure. </p> <p>ETA&nbsp;</p> <p>They're more normal sized now than the LE coat I tried maybe two years back.
