I have done the plain boiling and never had a problem, but it has been mostly on cotton items, with no stretch. Plus, I'm like a "no fear' type of gal. I liked how it turned out...until I undressed in the evening: red dye came off to the white shirt under arms - and I was not even sweating. The quality of this dress's fabric is not that great, I think I will retire it soon even though I adore the color. They were my go-to uniform since I joined YLF 2 years ago and believed Angie that a pearish bottom like mine can still wear skinnies. I still think they are a great winter staple for me when tucked into tall boots and worn with a tunic length top but when I am not wearing boots I drift towards flares, bootcuts and wide leg trousers. Somehow tight fitting tights are not appealing to me anymore. Maybe I am getting older and frumpier? Or maybe I just need a change?</p> <p>Thanks for looking and hope you have a great weekend! </p>
