With all this no jewelery looks, it feels quite refreshing (and balancing out the androgynious look with a hint of ladylike)&nbsp;to my eyes. </p> <p></p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw---matchy-matchy-magpie#post-1371250 Tue, 07 Oct 2014 13:48:49 +0000 cheryle (Dianthus) 1371250@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I posted a few days ago with some of my "style" conclusions and they included: &nbsp;I like wider legged pants, I like suits, and I like accessories. &nbsp;Today I did all of them so I may look like a matchy matchy magpie. &nbsp;</p> <p>I bought the suit a few weeks ago. &nbsp;I was ready to pay for just the pants and then had the order put on hold and grabbed the jacket. &nbsp;The pants fit quite well and have flap and button pockets in back which works since I have minimal booty. &nbsp;I might have been able to downsize in the jacket for the torso but this size is a good fit&nbsp;in the shoulders so I can tailor if needed. &nbsp;</p> <p>I added a white button shirt (jenna roll), my new green booties and a vintage green coach bag. &nbsp;I am trying out changing up bags to go with outfits instead of defaulting to the black hobo that I love. &nbsp;I came across a blogger who uses a lot of big faux pearls and realized this was something I am drawn to (probably why I have quite a few in the jewellery box) so I added the pearls for a bit of shine and polish. &nbsp;</p> <p>The booties and bag are a bit matchy matchy since the suit also has a teal stripe but I am good wtih that. &nbsp;</p> <p>I plan to wear the pants with the black merino t-neck and picked up a scarf in creams, black, and teal that will accent it well. &nbsp;The jacket can be worn with black pants or a skirt. &nbsp;</p> <p>Suit: &nbsp;Kasper<br />Shirt: &nbsp;Charles Tyrwhitt<br />Booties: &nbsp;Earth<br />Bag: &nbsp;vintage coach<br />Pearls: &nbsp;JCrew (may have been BR)</p> <p>So what do you think? &nbsp;Too much matchy matchy? &nbsp;Did I go overboard on the ladylike polished?</p> <p>I am as interested in critiques as in positive feedback so feel free to offer advice or suggestions. &nbsp;It's all good. </p>
