I got my other errands done yesterday, including some holiday shopping, and ran out of time for the grocery store before the roads started getting busy. So I put the grocery store off until today. Alas, the way the timing worked out, I hit the grocery store in my running gear (hubs and I are on a three day streak of running at least a mile every day). And wouldn’t you know it? I ran into a dear friend who barely even recognized me in my gear and mask. LOL well. He’s seen me at my absolute least attractive — sweaty and in gear with no makeup in 105 temps in Africa, so it’s not like I need to impress him! Funny thing, I don’t remember mom ever wearing this pin, and judging from what I see her wearing in old photos, I think It was from way before I was born, when she was very young, possibly dating back to the 40s. It was a walk down memory lane to look at those pins. I need to post about jewelry and attempt an edit at some point soon. </p> <p>Kyle, I love scarves! I have too many, but I wear and love most of them. They satisfy my need for pattern and print in the beat way. I used to be so cheap about them, but every time I’ve splurged on a designer one, it gets worn a LOT. And they last forever if you care for them properly.
