This is very nice! I like the colors on you.

If you are going to be eventually looking for a replacement blazer, I think a longer grey blazer would also look nice with this outfit.

I am officially "fingerprint-less" - no one can get readable fingeprints from me. DH jokes that I should have become a spy.

It was a winter purchase, Ceit, and probably on its last legs, as it's starting to bag out a bit. (I am yet again awed by your memory. Yes, it was Smart Set.) I am yet again trying to squeeze the last few drops out of something in my wardrobe. The colour makes it a good four-season jacket, for sure.

And that's one of the reasons I love scarves. They allow the more adventurous part of me to persuade the conservative part of me to try new combinations because "the scarf will pull it all together". And Van Gogh put so many colours in that painting, it can handle almost anything! LOL.

Hey, is that the blazer you bought in the summer? Was it Smart Set or Rickis? I love how you are making it work for fall. And the scarf is magic at tying all those colours together.

Love your blazer! Something I really need to invest in. And the muted mustard is perfect. Gotta love some digital fingerprinting!

And this is as brave as I get, CocoLion. There's crocheting on the top, a subtle plaid in the jacket, a pattern on my vintage earrings, and the scarf manages to combine each and every colour in the outfit, right down to the single-thread pale blue lines running through the plaid. And it puts some pale blue colour near my face, which suits me better than the mustardy colour of the top.

Inspiration to combine mustard and grey provided by our lovely Sveta, although my mustard is nowhere near as nice as hers.

The fingerprinting was for a routine criminal record check, in case anyone is wondering. All digital these days - no ink. Yay!

As always, comments and suggestions are always welcome. In the case of this outfit, I was trying to get maximum mileage out of some less-than-ideal elements. In my permanent wear-the-front-of-the-closet challenge, the top, the pants, and the jacket were all at the front, and Sveta's wonderful combination of similar colours inspired me to try combining them myself.
