They are tight at the high rise top (but they eased a bit after wearing so I am satisfied with them). I tried 2 sizes. One up from my usual was a more boyfriendy look, but I did not go for it because I did not like the excess width in the hips. They are loose from thigh on down. They are very long for something advertised as a crop. You will have to wear them folded as shown in the stock photo to get any kind of cropped look, and on you I suspect the cuff will be very deep indeed. Burgundy boots (and I have since added a burgundy calf-hair belt.)</p> <p>The CoH jeans are a recent accession. I'm not entirely convinced with the wide folded up cuff. I wonder if it would be better to hem them. I will tell you, for completely non-fashion reasons, I am tempted not to, because I can unfold them and wear them as high waters when it's chilly and I'm walking the dog in the afternoon in sneakers or hikers. </p>
