I think I could have gone either way. I think your arms may be a little shorter than mine? I hope it works! It s a little stiff at first but I was thinking of putting it in the dryer with a damp washcloth for a few minutes, which I find can soften up a stiff garment. I think it will soften with wear too. It’s a fun piece! Not a lot at Zara works for me, but they always do great jackets and outerwear.</p> <p>I spotted this new coated denim jacket, and I’d been thinking about a black denim jacket, but not a classic one, so I tried it on. It’s a bit oversized but I think it looks intentional that way (model photo styling seems to show an oversized feel), so I went for it. I like that it has a little shine to give a bit of texture and interest to the black, and the collarless detail, silver buttons, and the loose strap across the back hem all give the jacket a twist that I enjoy.</p> <p>I resurrected an old top from Target a million years ago, my Pilcro boyfriend jeans from maybe 7 years ago, and the old Fly London teal booties (I think I got the right sock combination today to make them work again, last time I tried wearing them I had doubts). I carried my dark teal leather backpack (not pictured).</p> <p>Worn to stop at the hardware store and donate blood. </p>
