I used to have a skirt that also somehow made me look like a had a tummy pooch too. I think it has to do with where the waistband of the skirt hits and how your shirt is matching up. I don't see any "pouch" but I see what you mean about the silhouette. I often encountered this problem with such skirts myself. It looks to me you have a long torso, and so I wonder it you could wear the skirt a bit higher on your hips. (And ooooooooh you KNOW I lost that weight and there's barely a pooch there!) Plus I shaved my legs, then decided to wear boots because it's under 90 degrees AND I CAN. So my lovely sleek legs are now hidden under lovely sleek boots.
