I think a dark tank underneath might be your solution. Also, if you have one that is a bit longer than the top you can change up the proportions. I think the modern stripes are at odds with the more boho feel of the top. I think if the skirt were solid, it would look more cohesive. The top is gorgeous and I could see it with harem pants too. Don't give up on it. I also saw a lot of people wear these tops over swim suits and with denim cut offs in Hawaii.
