The appointment was a consult with a new periodontist because my old one stopped accepting our insurance. I managed to go seven years since my last procedure to treat my gum issues, but it looks like I'm in for more fun later this year. Yuck. It could be better, but it also could be worse. They're also recommending finally getting rid of my wisdom teeth, and I think that scares me more than the other procedures.
