Peppermint oil mixed with a carrier oil can repel them - as can lavender oil and a few others. Depends on what scent you prefer. Burts Bees used to have a peppermint based shower gel. For the itch I would recommend a product called<br /> Boericke &amp; Tafel Florasone Itch &amp; Rash Relief Cream&nbsp;</p> <p>- it's homeopathic and one of the few things that works for me.
