I love having a workhorse and I am happy to repeat outfits.  I used to struggle more with social occasions Ie would want to wear a different outfit for meals with the same people.  I don't worry about that any more.  I have continued wearing non black outfits - one day to go - it actually is a challenge for me even in summer. I ADORE that skirt and I see no problem with frequent repeats. I wear my similar skirt at least once a week -- it's extremely versatile, I find, and so what if people have seen it before? The top changes the vibe a lot.  I like it with both footwear options. I think the sandals will stretch. Mine are not the woven version but plain, so it's a slightly different situation, but I do find they loosened up. I got blisters at first on heel and maybe elsewhere too -- of course I did wear them for a 5 mile walk in humid weather on their first outing, which may have been ill advised. It is kind of boring in one way to see the same piece over and over again but on the other hand I hope it inspires people to wear the heck out of their clothing.... Thanks Nemosmum and Joy. Suntiger - you are probably right.  The version I wore was with a peach tee and I suspect slip on sneakers in 1987 (I have a pic somewhere) Bonnie - the tee is black and white stripes but they kind of blur in the photo as they are quite fine.  The skirt has been well worn this summer and will work here for all but the coldest months (October - May it will work, not June-Sept). But let’s see how we go... You have seen this skirt a lot - today I wore it with my striped tee tucked and white oxfords. The tee is slightly shaped with a shirt tail hem - I usually wear with shorts or jeans untucked. This felt very much like what I wore in 1987.... is that good or bad? I think it is quite current but three years ago would have been considered frumpy. My new sandals arrived so I wore them for part of the day too. I love them - they are a firm fit but expect them to give to be very comfortable. My heel often gets blisters and I think it must be slightly protruding. Also added pic of my Feb purchase - new running shoes. Not planning to add anything else this month - trying to hold off til we travel in mid April unless I see the perfect mid weight knitwear where I am very depleted. Thx Carla and those who take a look. ETA: Day Two added.  Just back from the Sheep Sale.  It is hot so long sleeves and a hat were needed, and flat shoes obviously essential.  I didn't wear a belt and the jeans have sort of slipped from high rise to mid rise.
