Zibbets, thank you for the hair comment. It was raining this morning when I got ready, so I didn't bother with much blow-drying, figuring it would be a humid day and the effort would be for naught. But it cleared up and was a beautiful day! </p> <p>I got a compliment on this shirt today, which was nice. I think this may turn out to be a workhorse. I'm keeping one other chambray shirt, which is really more of a thicker, denim material, and it's quite fitted -- more of a western style, classic Levis, with pockets and pearl snaps. Lots of length in back. I went for a semi-tuck this time, but this can easily be worn untucked or fully tucked as well, depending on the bottoms I pair it with. I did the Jenna roll on the sleeves, but they're a little floppy. </p> <p>Paired with Rich &amp; Skinny (the brand, not me!) houndstooth skinnies and the JC woven Everly booties. What on earth did I wear during transitional weather before these booties?? I love them! I was going to wear grey socks to echo the black and grey houndstooth of the pants, but the grey socks were in the wash. </p> <p>I chose to pick up the angular nature of the houndstooth in my jewelry -- mixed metal necklace and ring. Just some small touches to a pretty simple outfit. I'm really drawn to keeping it simple these days. </p> <p>Comments &amp; suggestions always welcome. </p>
