Thank you all for the nice words and boost on the old BR jeans (and Joy, these are the ones from a few years back - I tend to hold on to things for a while before totally giving up). <br /></div><div><br /></div><div>The fit was good on these the whole time but the length was an issue to me and for some stupid reason I just didn't try the hack until recently. They are a little lower in the rise than the current trend but still high enough not to expose my stomach with tops like this one. I currently have 3 pair of hacked jeans (2 white). I'll trim long bits after a wash if required. This has been one of my favourite trends. Yours look great and the outfit is fab. I was just about to get rid of these cream BR jeans I've had for a few years and decided instead to give them a hack and try them again. I was please with the result. <br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Not sure if they will look good after washing but I'll have to see. A heavy straight edge and good utility knife make the hack a much cleaner and easier task than scissors I must say. DH helped with that. I did a close up so you could see the raw edge better.</div><div><br /></div><div>The olive tie top is from JCrew factory I believe. <br /></div> </p>
