Is it the cut, or how it's styled? I am thinking it may be a styling issue. I'd love to try the coat with black or dark wash skinny jeans and the dark boots -- to create a long, lean line underneath. I'm wondering if you prefer that outfit with the turquoise blazer simply because the turquoise draws the eye up? And away from the abrupt contrast created by white skinnies with tall black boots?
