The waist definition is definitely flattering. With a longer belt, you could also tie it instead of buckling, for a more modern and free flair.

Not frumpy -- clean and classic. I notice that you're not feeling confident about your outfits, even though you are clearly well on your way to a better wardrobe with you recent purchases. Do you do Pinterest? Perhaps pinning some pages of looks you like from the web and other pinners would help you define what styles you really love. Perhaps you're a more dramatic type, or perhaps you haven't realized how wonderful simple, classic style can be.

I think you should define your waist more often, and I think adding a mid-width belt -- perhaps 1 to 1 1/2 inches to your wardrobe would be really useful. I just bout a neutral snakeskin belt that I love. It goes with everything.

Loosen the belt and you are good to go. Great color and very flattering silhouette. You could even scrunch the sweater sleeves a little:) This does not look at all frumpy to me.

I think the belt looks nice, and yes, tying it a little looser might look better. Also, you could add a scarf to the outfit just for some added interest.

I think it looks very nice! I like the shine from the belt, and agree with Angie that it could be worth tying it a bit looser. I do find that photographing in the morning yields a more cheerful photo

That works well! Perhaps tie the belt a little looser? And minimalist me wants to leave off the necklace - but it does work. You look fab

So, I tried the belted cardigan look today along with layering V-necks. I wore it with my new fit and flare trousers.

As I look at the picture, it looks much frumpier than I felt. Hmm, maybe I shouldn't wait until the end of the day to photograph!

Honest feedback appreciated.
