I tend towards higher contrast looks I think - and do wear quite a bit of black.  I was pleased to get this one right and will wear it again. Thanks Sterling, Jussie and Cocolion - what kind words.  The coat is a real statement and a lot of fun to wear - I do feel quite conspicuous in my neck of the woods in it though. Thank you Suz, Becky, 3Style, Katerina, Shevia, The Cat, Brooklyn, Rachy, Joy and KKards.  I am someone who can pick good colour combinations when they are in front of me but is not always great at choosing them alone.  I guess I should use art or nature more as inspiration - I do copy combinations that I see on other forum members too. I have an ombré scarf in cream to burgundy that I don't wear much - it doesn't go as well with my blacks, greys and navy as i had expected . I looked at the colours - faded browns, lilac shadows and blues and the textures- rough and smooth. I didn't get any terracotta in nor green - and I hope to try this again during the week and incorporate them. I did like this outfit - the fur, the textured sweater and the lilac all seemed harmonious. Looking forward to seeing others during the week.
