I was thinking of them in the same way, as a placeholder, but they're really not bad. The day I bought them I was in the shoe aisle with a bunch of other women and we were all trying them on--we all bought a pair and one woman bought them in both grey and black--for the price we all thought they were quite nice. I'll keep looking for the perfect pair but these will work for now and allow me to put together some outfits I've had in my head but needed grey boots.</p> <p>Thanks for looking and any comments or suggestions are more than welcome. </p>
