Fabrication and fit are key! </p> <p>Pleasant surprise at the doctors office: I haven’t owned a scale in 20 years — I generally rely on the fit of my clothes to tell me if my weight is going up or down. I’ve been vigilant about my eating for the past two months, because my clothes got tight over the winter. As a result, my weight is actually now lower than it was at my appointment two years ago. I could tell it was making a difference because the last time I tried on these pants I almost donated them because they were tight.
