My right foot is wider and has a higher instep so I think we have similar feet. A size 6 might feel perfect on the left but would be too tight on the right. Yay for lace up shoes and insoles. It is impossible for me to wear pumps as well. Slingback shoes are the only way I can experience a pump. I seem to remember wearing pumps when I was younger and not having this problem. Still, I think that a near-match shoe store would have lots of customers, because it really isn't uncommon to have slightly different-sized feet. Then think about all the ladies who have bunions, get one foot operated on and then have two different sized feet until the other foot gets corrected. You could help them stay well-shod and comfortable! </p>
