I have found moss green works for me. I have incredibly warm green eyes, verging on olive to even chartreuse, without a hint of hazel, brown etc. So it echoes my eyes. I consider cool chocolate or bark brown to be an earth tone and wear that. I also have some cognac. Once in a great while, I play with ocher yellow. That’s about as far as I venture. I think my one complaint with the earth tones category is how narrow the palette often is interpreted. There are lots of cool shades in the earth that kind of get passed over as earth tones. The mountain lake near me is the most stunning shade of emerald and teal. And there are cool steel blue and grey granite streaks in the cliffs above my house. I hope I don’t sound like a cranky cool toned gal lol! I love warmer tones.
