Who knew we were all such hoarders! </p> <p>Christina - I got the booties in a 7 wide and they are comfortably roomy with light weight socks and my 3/4 length orthotic. I may add a tin insole to make them even cushier. I am a 7 M in the Two pairs of Borns that I have Pirlo and Gunn, and the Blissful 7W is a bit wider in both width and instep than those. They are the comfiest pointy toe I own. As it reminds me of my absolute most favorite sweater ever, that I owned in 8th-9th-10th grade in the late 70s/early 80s, and would wear to go ice skating on Friday nights. It was a light-medium grey&nbsp; with blue and white around the color. </p> <p>In more recent years on first trip to Iceland I bought a "replacement" sweater that turned out to be much thicker -- more like outerwear. And ultimately was just too hot, even for Boston (thank you perimenopause hot flashes), so I never wore it except on rare blizzard condition /polar vortex days. When we moved three years ago, I decluttered it. Tonight was the annual Cross Country Ski Passholders social and you all inspired me.&nbsp;</p> <p>My mom and dad gave me this over 30 years ago after a Scandinavian &nbsp;trip (Dad was born Denmark). It was always far too big, but I always kept pulling it out of the donate bag. A few years ago I did the intentional hot wash/dry and now it fits pretty well, but I never seem to wear it. I'm not sure why - I enjoyed it today, &nbsp;so thanks for making me pull it out. The felting had made it even thicker so it is perfect for the recent cold dry weather .</p> <p>I like the details - reindeer, the trim, and the way the buckles pick up the studs on my new navy booties. </p>
