This yellowy-brown is not a color I normally ever wear, but I came across the sweater and corduroys in person at a boutique last year (I do almost all my shopping online) and realized it would really work for me. </p> <p>I am strictly a summer if you follow the seasonal color analyses, but there are lots of colors that work for me outside of that (like my mustard velvet suit for example, or black.) I find that using a radiance primer (like the ones that Nars and Laura Mercier make) is really useful in imparting a glow, no matter what color you have on. And likewise, a lip color can add a flattering pop.</p> <p>Bijou, I did darken my hair, though not intentionally. I told my stylist it was looking too warm and asked him to use a cooler toner. It came out a bit darker than I intended, and I think I'm going to ask for a shade lighter at the next visit.</p> <p>I'm waiting for someone to do tonal dressing like another food.
