I’m a little apprehensive what that might mean for summer! </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw%e2%80%a6march-1st#post-2354177 Sat, 02 Mar 2024 00:05:50 +0000 Carla 2354177@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I read a piece on the Weather Network that claimed March 1st is the start of something called ‘meteorological spring’. &nbsp;(Described as March, April, May). &nbsp;I’m down for it!</p> <p>Two heavier weight winter coats have been cleaned and moved to seasonal storage, and I did a sort of cold weather accessories and stored some heavier pieces. &nbsp;Though it’s still sweater season for&nbsp;<i>me</i>, the roll necks have moved to the bottom of the pile, and the crew necks are now on top. &nbsp;<i></i></p> <p><div><br /></div><div>The jeans and sweater&nbsp;were worn with navy sneakers, a navy puffer, and a navy beanie for walking to and from the pool where I swim, and then for a walk afterwards with DH. &nbsp;By the time we got home, coats were open and hats were off! &nbsp;I switched things up to go check out a new thrift shop in a neighbouring town, and a stop at the sporting goods store to pick up some new swim goggles.</p> <p>I’m enjoying the unexpected clash of the ‘fruit and flowers’ scarf with the black and white check coat, and the scarf’s green edge is a dead-on match with the sweater. These ‘new’ jeans with a seam down the front are my new favourites (though I wear and love the wide legs too!)</p> <p> </div><div>FWIW, I saw lots of bare ankles, and some runners out in shorts!</div> </p>
