I also think that the length and slimmer line of the jeans help balance their proportions. Otherwise, although I used to do it in the 90s, I try not to wear a running shoe with my regular clothes. I don’t regard my Skechers ( which BTW is the correct spelling, no “t” in the brand name) as running shoes.
