I think they are more flattering to your colouring and they're also just plain interesting because they add some fun re-mixing options with older items like your scarves and outerwear.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Black footwear is pretty much the only black that I <b>will </b>buy. But I also try to avoid it. Even so, I still have quite a lot of black footwear! I do find that texture makes black more wearable for me (even in footwear) -- so the shine of patent or the softness of the nubuck seems to help.
