The lycra content makes the fabric more flexible than your good old 100% cotton denim. I actually think the fabric is nice. It doesn't feel really flimsy like the jeggings I've tried. I live in the south end so it is less than an hour drive and if you have less than $100 to declare (NAFTA countries exempt from duty), they rarely charge you anything. It is well worth it. Lovely lady, said she'd email me the instructions ASAP and that for international orders you simply return the one item for a refund and then place a new order for the other item yada yada yada...I paid, with duties, taxes and shipping $129 for these jeans (listed on Nordstrom's site @ somewhere around $69 if I remember correctly). Do you know how much I get refunded once I have to pay return duties, taxes and shipping??? $46.72!!! Yep...that's all. So even if I had ordered the two different sizes, I would still be paying a substantial amount to send back the pair that didn't fit.
