I did find some great stuff (pics to come) and the DMV was a breeze. As long as you have an appointment, remember to wear pants and bring proper documentation, things go pretty smoothly! My picture turned out well, and through an error on the DMV's part, I don't have to take the behind the wheel test :-D</p> <p>@ rae: I do take bad pictures, I just have the good sense to keep them out of the public eye ;-)</p> <p>@patty: In my experience, Goodwill is now doing half price days every day! Items marked with certain tag colors (noted on an easel at the front door) are on special for a week at a time. The week starts on Wednesdays, and ends on Tuesday. They also have weekly specials (with the same week schedule) on one type of item. My local Goodwill did sweaters last week, and is currently doing jeans. Those items aren't half price, but they are discounted a few bucks. But, that's here in the states. Last year to renew I stood in line for FOUR hours! Take snacks and a big bottle of water and a difficult puzzle to solve or good paperback. Earplugs for fussy crying babies and toddlers are good too.
