But it is <b>NOT</b> for anyone who lives in a hot climate. It is made of that polyester stuff my grandma's housecoats were made out of and it is super warm and a bit weird (because, you know, full on poly, and I think of my grandma when I put it on), but it's also nice, because it is very lightweight and of course <b>WASHABLE</b>. I love the jacquard textured effect -- it gives it interest. The collar can be worn as a sort of cowl or it can be folded into a funnel neck but it would not be pleasant for anyone who does not like a high neck. Also, it's a batwing style so you have to be okay with a lot of volume in that underarm area. I happen to adore the cut -- it's simple but dramatic.&nbsp;</p> <p><b>Dee,</b> I seem okay in white as long as I choose unprecious fabrics like denim or this top or a cotton shirt. Which is not to say that accidents never happen but it's actually a lot rarer than I would imagine. Tomato spatters while cooking, occasionally, is the main risk for me.&nbsp;</p> <p><b>Angie</b>, you are so right. Where have those boots been? They are great! I will get a lot more wear from my white jeans this winter, just like that! But I also like them with darker bottoms, to my surprise.
